SUMMARY:Wojtyla Summer Institute
DESCRIPTION:The Wojtyla Summer Institute (August 6-9, 2026) aims to advance Our Lady Seat of Wisdom College’s mission to serve the Church by offering this special Catholic conference focused on aspects of the faith and Catholic social teaching. This conference is available to groups or individuals, including those involved in Church ministry, teachers in publicly-funded and private schools, and Catholic individuals who are interested in further developing their understanding of Catholicism.\nWe are pleased to announce that our Keynote Speaker for this year’s Institute is Archbishop Marcel Damphousse (Ottawa-Cornwall Archdiocese). This year’s theme is “‘Be Not Afraid’: The Church’s Call to Mission in a Post-Christian World.” Inspired by St. John Paul II’s constant exhortation “Be not afraid,” this theme focuses on the Church’s mission in our time of cultural upheaval and secularization. The Institute will explore how families, parishes, and those engaged in the intellectual life can respond with renewed apostolic zeal in our post-Christian age.\nFurther information, including this year’s speakers, fees, and more can be found at our website, here: https://www.seatofwisdom.ca/news/summer-institutes/wojtyla2026/ \n
