CALLED – Catholic Women’s Retreat

CALLED, A Catholic Women’s Retreat is a sister retreat to Women of Bethany retreats.  This is a retreat for women seeking to step away from their daily lives, to seek God’s presence, to hear God’s voice and to connect through fellowship with other like-minded women.

We are pleased to welcome you to the beautiful setting of Centre de l’Amour, nestled on the banks of the Ottawa River in scenic Plantagenet.

Delicious homestyle meals will be served buffet-style. We will enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner on Saturday, as well as Sunday breakfast and lunch. Unfortunately, the Centre de l’Amour is unable to accommodate dietary restrictions and allergies, but they offer a refrigerator and microwave for your use.

You are welcome to arrive after dinner, between 5:30pm and 6:30pm to settle in your room. Our retreat begins on Friday, Nov. 3 at 7:00 pm, and ends on Sunday Nov. 5 at 12:30pm following lunch. Masses will be celebrated on both Saturday and Sunday.

The retreat will include talks given by Bonnie Landry, along with the opportunity for Reconciliation, praise and worship, prayer ministry, and Adoration. There will also be free time to enjoy the lovely indoor Chapel, the outdoor Chapel, the outdoor Stations of the Cross, and roam the grounds. Catholic gift shop on site.

Bonnie Landry is a Catholic mom who lives in the little hamlet of Cobble Hill on Vancouver Island, British Columbia with her family.  She and her husband Albert have been raising and homeschooling kids since 1987.   Joy is her modus operandi.  Life is kind of a bust if you can’t get along with people. Passionate about simplifying education and family life, Bonnie enjoys sharing her practical ideas about relationships, discipline and creating time and space for stilling our own souls.  She’s a natural cheerleader and wants to sees families succeed, as shown through her podcast: Make Joy Normal. Cost for this retreat is $180 for overnight attendance or $100 for day attendance, payable by e-transfer or by cheque.
