What happened in Rome during the Synod? Where is the Church going? St. Basil’s Women in the Church Ministry invites you to a free Lunch and Learn Event. 11:30 a.m., Sunday, November 26. Our presenter is Dr. Catherine E. Clifford, professor of systematic and historical theology and founding director of the Center for Research on Vatican II and 21st Century Catholicism at Saint Paul University, Ottawa. She has just returned from serving as an expert and voting participant at the October Synod and will discuss what happened in Rome from an insider’s point of view. Her presentation will be followed by a complimentary soup lunch to give us time to reflect on her insights. Everyone is welcome. This event should be of special interest to those who took part in synodal discussions and wonder what happened to their input. What changes can we expect to see? What next? For more information, contact the parish office or email stbasilswomenministry@gmail.com.
