Increase your understanding of Indigenous history and culture through Canadian Martyrs Church’s Listening to Indigenous Voices Zoom study group. Now in its third season, this study group uses the Jesuit Forum guidebook “Listening to Indigenous Voices – A Dialogue Guide on Justice and Right Relationships”, complied by many authors, most of whom are Indigenous, to deepen our understanding of our settler relationship with Indigenous peoples and to explore Indigenous cultures and histories. The study group will meet on Zoom every second Wednesday from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. starting on October 4 and ending on February 28. (No session on December 27). The guidebook can be purchased online from Novalis.ca or the JesuitForum.ca. The parish also has limited copies for purchase at the parish office for $25.  The facilitators from Canadian Martyrs parish are settlers engaging in efforts for truth and reconciliation. To register, please email maureen.cerroni@gmail.com.
