Living for Greatness NET Retreat (Gr 6-8)
About the Retreat
Society tells us that the purpose of life is to get a good job and make a lot of money. However, our greatness isn’t measured by what we do, but by who we are.
God has a plan for each of us. During this retreat, attendees explore how to hear him and have the strength to follow him. The retreat day includes games, skits, dynamic talks, small-group discussions where kids can share honestly about faith and life, and a time of guided prayer and worship.
The cost is $25/participant and includes lunch. The retreat runs from 10am-4:30pm on Saturday, Jan 17, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish. It is open to youth in grades 6-8.
*An evening Mass is available at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish that fulfills Sunday Obligation. This is not a formal part of the retreat schedule.

About NET Canada
NET is a Catholic Youth Ministry Organization based out of Ottawa. We see that many young people lose their faith by the time they leave high school. NET sends teams of young adults to share their faith in schools and churches, so youth are transformed and re-engaged in their Catholic faith.
What is a NET retreat?
A NET retreat is an opportunity for your child to encounter God, maybe for the first time. Perhaps they attend church with you or are involved in youth group but haven’t yet made faith their own. This retreat day is designed to help them encounter Jesus personally and discover their own call to greatness. It gives them the space to share honestly, ask questions, and be inspired by other young people who have chosen to give their lives to Jesus.
