Our own Archbishop Marcel Damphousse was elected by his brother bishops as the Vice President of the Assembly of Catholic Bishops of Ontario at their 2024 Spring Plenary. This is a two-year term that began on Thursday, March 7th, 2024, and will end on February 25, 2026
The Assembly of Catholic Bishops of Ontario is an association that represents twenty-three Bishops across Ontario from seventeen dioceses and eparchies. Their Executive meets at least six times a year and represents the interests of all Ontario Bishops in responding to the requests of the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops (CCCB)
