Job Summary:
Under the supervision of the parish priest, ensure the effective management of the parish in collaboration with other employees, committees, and volunteers.
Main Responsibilities:
- Management of parish activities
- Management of human resources
- Collaboration with committees and volunteers
- Collaboration with the treasurer
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Technical Skills:
- Ability to work with various technologies and software programs
- Bilingual, with an excellent command of both French and English
Behavioral Skills:
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Initiative and ability to work independently
- Warm and welcoming attitude
Education and Experience:
- Education and/or experience in management
- Knowledge of the ecclesial environment
- Understanding of how a parish operates
- Experience in a related field
- A police background check will be required
Working Conditions:
- Type of contract: Part-time, 21 hours per week
- Schedule: Ideally Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays
- Compensation: $21.00/hour
- Work location: Parish office, Innes Road, Orléans
