Job Summary:

Under the supervision of the parish priest, ensure the effective management of the parish in collaboration with other employees, committees, and volunteers.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Management of parish activities
  • Management of human resources
  • Collaboration with committees and volunteers
  • Collaboration with the treasurer

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Technical Skills:

  • Ability to work with various technologies and software programs
  • Bilingual, with an excellent command of both French and English

Behavioral Skills:

  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Initiative and ability to work independently
  • Warm and welcoming attitude

Education and Experience:

  • Education and/or experience in management
  • Knowledge of the ecclesial environment
  • Understanding of how a parish operates
  • Experience in a related field
  • A police background check will be required

Working Conditions:

  • Type of contract: Part-time, 21 hours per week
  • Schedule: Ideally Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays
  • Compensation: $21.00/hour
  • Work location: Parish office, Innes Road, Orléans

  • Leave: 2 weeks of annual vacation and 10 personal leave days
