PASTORAL AGENT: Responsible for Couples, Families, and Youth Mission

Nature of the Work:

Under the responsibility of the Diocesan Pastoral Coordination, the person will be a member of the Diocesan Services team and will take on responsibilities of accompaniment and collaboration.

Responsibilities:

  • With a spirit of exploration and development, remain attentive and present to the challenges of evangelizing youth, young adults, couples, and families in today’s Church.
  • Maintain collaborative ties with parishes, particularly with those responsible for catechetical and catechumenal programs, to support the development of the youth and couples/families mission.
  • Accompany activities related to marriage ministry.
  • Maintain collaborative ties with parishes regarding family projects.
  • Coordinate various diocesan activities carried out in collaboration with stakeholders of the youth mission (e.g., Camp Aventuriers de la vie, Dodo relâche, JMJ Leadership Camp).
  • Collaborate with the diocesan pastoral services in carrying out various projects.

Qualifications:

  • Training in theology or pastoral ministry, or relevant experience.
  • Relevant experience in pastoral ministry, particularly with youth.
  • Ability to accompany and resource pastoral workers involved in couples, families, and youth ministry.

Additional Information:

  • Work schedule: 35 hours/week.
  • Working conditions and salary are determined by the diocesan ordinance.
