Hiroshima Nagasaki Posters Exhibit

To mark the International Day for Peace (Sept. 21), St. Basil’s Church is hosting an exhibit of posters commemorating the 80th anniversary of the nuclear bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, Japan. Copies of the 35 posters with explanatory texts have been given to Ottawa by the Hiroshima Memorial Peace Museum. They will be located in the foyer and church hall from Saturday to Monday, Sept. 20-22. An opening ceremony and reception will be held in the hall Sunday the 21st at 11:30.
