Marriage Preparation Course – Catholic Engaged Encounter

Engaged Couples can find information about the Catholic Engaged Encounter (CEE) program and register on our website at www.ceeeast.org

The CEE program is meant for engaged couples to build a more intimate relationship. The weekend provides an opportunity for each engaged couple to see how their culture and upbringing may influence their relationship. There is time to share and discuss privately and honestly about their future lives together – to explore their strengths and weaknesses; desires; ambitions; goals; their attitudes about money, sex, children, family, and their role in the church and society.

The format for the weekend is as follows:

  • presentation by a CEE team (married couple and priest)
  • then questions for each partner to answer individually in writing
  • followed by time for the engaged couple to share and discuss their answers privately.

The CEE program gives engaged couples the opportunity to discover the deeper meaning of the Sacrament of Marriage and the importance of God in their relationship. All faiths are welcome, with the knowledge that the weekend is presented from the Catholic perspective in thought, morality, ritual, and expression.

Catholic Engaged Encounter English Canada East-Courses are via Zoom. Please see website for more information.
