We are excited to invite you to the Ecological Fair at Saint Paul University!  

When? Wednesday, March 26, from 11 AM to 4 PM  

Where?  Multipurpose Room  

This is a great opportunity to explore sustainability initiatives, connect with local eco-conscious organizations, and discover ways to make a positive environmental impact. There will be interactive booths, engaging activities, and inspiring discussions on how we can contribute to a greener future.

Opening Ceremony
Welcome speech by organizers and introduction to the event’s goals.
11:30 AM - 1:30 PM
Interactive Booths
Visitors explore booths featuring eco-friendly products, sustainability initiatives, and hands-on activities.
2:00 PM - 2:30 PM
Panel 1: Future Leaders of Sustainability: Organizations Making an Impact
This panel explores how students and activists are shaping environmental policies, green entrepreneurship, and social movements—proving that the future is in our hands.
2:30 PM - 3:00 PM
Panel 2: Rethinking Ecology Through the University: Knowledge, Action, and Responsibility
Panelists will discuss the university’s responsibility in addressing the climate crisis, the initiatives currently in place, and how students and faculty can drive meaningful change.

Sample Will Wording and Charity Number

It is important that your Will include the correct legal name and charitable registration number in your documents. The legal name for the Archdiocese of Ottawa-Cornwall is:

THE ROMAN CATHOLIC EPISCOPAL CORPORATION OF OTTAWA-CORNWALL Charitable Registration # 128967353 RR0001

Your parish office is able provide you with the legal name for your own parish. However, most Archdiocesan parishes and programs can be designated in your Will as:

The Roman Catholic Episcopal Corporation of OTTAWA-CORNWALL, for the benefit of [ Specific Parish, Cemetery, Ministry or Program ] in [ Town / City ].

You may also consider the following clauses in your Will:

For your parish:

“To pay to (Legal Name of Parish) Roman Catholic Parish for its own use absolutely, the sum of (amount) dollars. I declare that the receipt of the person professing to be the Pastor or Parochial Administrator of the parish shall be sufficient discharge to my Trustee who need not see to the application thereof. I further direct that if the (Name of Parish) does not exist at the time of my death, this bequest shall be paid to the Parish’s successor, and if no such successor exists, then to an institution with similar objectives and goals.”
