The Synodal Church: a Spirit-Filled Vision, a Daring Promise, & a Call to Hope

What is happening with Synodality in the Catholic Church?  Many of us remember taking part in local discussions in preparation for the Synod on Synodality Sessions held in October 2023 and 2024 but haven’t heard much since then. 

Join us on-line on June 7 for an update and discussion of what’s next with Elizabeth Davis, past congregational leader of the Sisters of Mercy from Newfoundland and Labrador. Sr. Elizabeth was one of 54 women voting delegates at the Sessions in the Vatican. Since then, she has been keeping track of the implementation and the reports of the resulting study groups.

Through conversations like this one with Sister Elizabeth we hope to find ways to move forward together and to keep the spirit of the Synod alive.  From our many small flames a new Pentecost will come!
