Lenten Encounter of Formation and Prayer

Saint John the Apostle Parish, 2340 Baseline Road, Ottawa, invites the community to a Lenten Encounter of Formation and Prayer, inspired by the life and spirituality of Saint Francis of Assisi, within the Jubilee Year proclaimed by the Holy Father, marking the 800th anniversary of his passing to the Father’s house.

The encounter will include a film on the life of Saint Francis, reflection on the Canticle of the Creatures, a presentation on the Church of San Damiano, contemplation of the Cross of San Damiano, reflection on the Sign of the Tau, a presentation on the Porziuncola, and a virtual pilgrimage through Assisi, visiting the places where God shaped his path of conversion and faithful following of Christ. Sunday, March 8th at 3:00pm.
