Fiat: Women’s Discernment Night for Consecrated Life
Fiat is a series of nights for women ages 18-35 discerning consecrated life, including religious life and consecrated virginity. Following Mary’s Fiat (her “yes” to God), come learn more about the vocation of consecrated life and see how God may be calling you.
Evenings will run from 7-9 pm and will include a talk, small and large group discussion, prayer time, and time for fellowship. Topics may include the various vocations of consecrated life (Religious Institutes, Societies of Apostolic Life, Consecrated Virginity, Secular Institutes, Diocesan Hermits) and their forms (ex. contemplative vs active). We’ll also explore how to properly discern and build strong prayer lives.
These events are facilitated by members of the Servants of the Cross, the Queenship of Mary Community, and Erin Kinsella, a Consecrated Virgin within our Archdiocese. At Fiat, you’ll have a chance to connect with women living the consecrated life and others still discerning.
