Indigenous Reconciliation Discussion on John Ralston Saul’s book A Fair Country

The Indigenous roots of Canadian values:  Join the Holy Redeemer Kanata Indigenous Peoples ministry on Monday Oct 26 at 7 pm for a video and discussion on John Ralston Saul’s book A Fair Country. Saul argues that Canada is fundamentally built on Indigenous foundations of equality, peace, fairness, and compromise rather than European colonial models. These values were absorbed through centuries of cohabitation, trade, intermarriage, and treaty-making with Indigenous peoples. He argues this is what distinguishes us from the strong individualism of the United States.  To register, please email neilrjmaxwell@rogers.com
