The 2025 Wojtyla Institute For Teachers

Our Lady Seat of Wisdom College will host its fourteenth annual Wojtyla Summer Institute for Teachers from August 7th to 10th, 2025. This year’s theme is “The Seven Liberal Arts: Ordering the Soul.” 

The series of talks will address the traditional liberal arts studies of Grammar, Logic, Rhetoric, Arithmetic, Music, Geometry, and Astrology (in today’s terms, Astronomy), and their role in forming the whole person. Registration is open, with Early Bird perks available until June 27, 2025.

The Wojtyla Summer Institute for Teachers aims to advance Our Lady Seat of Wisdom College’s mission to serve the Church by offering programs focused on aspects of the Faith and Catholic social teaching. These programs are available to groups or individuals interested in further developing their understanding of Catholicism.

A panel discussion will be held on the morning of August 10th, following morning mass, where educators will discuss various topics such as Catholic education and best practices for the classroom. They will compare education in a Catholic setting to non-Catholic education, exploring the ultimate goal/end, the means, the implications for pedagogy/curriculum, and more.
