Archdiocese of Ottawa-Cornwall

Hundredfold Workshop on Parish Vocations

Hosted at Café des Tours from 9am-3pm, the Hundredfold workshop is designed to equip Catholic laity in forming a vibrant parish vocation ministry that promotes vocations to the priesthood, marriage, and consecrated life. Free parking will be available in the blue spaces in the Notre-Dame parking lot.

What you will learn:

  • What is a vocation ministry?
  • What is the recipe for a vocation-producing parish?
  • How do we start and sustain our ministry?
  • How do we invite our youth to discern a call?

Make a concrete plan for your parish ministry:

  • Choose realistic activities in the areas or Prayer, Education, Youth, and Affirmation
  • Discuss how to celebrate various dates such as National Vocation Awareness Week
  • Set goals and leave with a concrete plan of action!

Guest Presenter: Bob McMorrow

Bob McMorrow and his wife Karen have been married for 27 years. They have seven children, two sons-in-law, and three grandchildren. For 25 years he has worked in youth ministry and catechesis in the Archdiocese of Anchorage, Alaska, leading youth conferences, mission trips, and pilgrimages. To create a culture of vocations for the Archdiocese, he developed a vocation team. Bob has always found great joy in helping young people discern God’s will in life.
