The Department of Mission and Pastoral Services is focused on keeping the ship on course. As a department we make sure the Archdiocese is continually heading towards her greatest identity: Evangelization. 

For millennia, the church has achieved this in two fashions, firstly, by bringing the Gospel of Jesus Christ to those who have never encountered it. Secondly, by continually strengthening the faithful through a rich interior life immersed in the sacraments.

However, in this modern era, the Church has struggled to connect to an ever-growing third population, the fallen-away.

In the 21st century, we must use the increasing number of tools at our disposal to evangelize those who have heard much about Jesus but have never truly met Him or have fallen away.

Our Office is Missional because it focuses on sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ to all those who in today’s world have forgotten, grown weary or never heard the Gospel authentically preached.

Our office also offers Pastoral services to faithful men or women who are looking for continued support in their life, wherever they may find themselves.

Our Office also attempts to accomplish these tasks through a variety of ministries:

• Youth Ministry
• Vocations
• Clerical support
• Care for Creation
• Etc…

No matter who you are, and no matter what you believe, we are here to help you encounter Jesus Christ and His Church.
