On January 7 2026, Father Walter Vogels, P.B. died in Antwerp, Belgium at the age of 93. Father Vogels worked for many years in the Archdiocese as a professor of Old Testament at Saint Paul University and at the Dominican University College. He has also taught candidates for the permanent diaconate and has given numerous lectures here and abroad. One month after his death, we want to thank God for his life and place him in the loving hands of our Father.
You are all invited to the Mass that will be celebrated for the repose of his soul this Saturday, February 7, 2026 at the chapel of Saint Paul University (Seminary Chapel) at 10:30 a.m. Please note that there is a fee for parking on University property, but free parking is available on nearby streets.
